Have you ever been in love?

Love is the topic that gets warped and twisted into context that doesn't always flatter the most romantic souls. Love is one of the most wonderful and important experiences to have in this life time. Don't you want to love someone who is going to love you with more passion than you thought humanly possible? Or do you want to be tomorrow's next headline, "Another Cheater, Another Broken Heart"? Here are some good and bad examples of couples past and present to learn from when it comes to the topic of love, as well as some tips on how to remain faithful and happy.

Bella & Edward

When love is mentioned in today's current pop culture, most girls heart's and mind's immediately fling to the love inspired movie Twilight, and rightfully so.  Bella Swan (average human teenager) and Edward Cullen (insanely good-looking teenage vampire) were in fact destined to be together.  They fall madly in love, but Edward, out of pure love, leaves Bella because he believes she deserves a chance at a normal life.  Unlike the "Brad Pitts" of today who leave their wives for other women, Edward acted out of love, just like he always has for Bella. There is also much debate of wether to be Team Edward or Team Jacob.  This however wouldn't be a question in anyone's mind if true love was emphasized in our culture.  The idea of Jacob, a merely hot friend who wants Bella to forget her true love, should be repulsive the the real lovers of today!  Fidelity is first in his heart.

  1. Kels, I love the idea of fidelity today =) It's a really good topic. Oh, and I think that Team Jacob isn't bad. He has always been there for Bella, even when Edward left her and she needed him the most. Jacob can't help how he feels about Bella, and I think she sort of loves him back to. That is all =]
